The world-renowned BC Cancer Agency offers cancer patients, leading edge treatments as part of a comprehensive provincial oncology program. In mental health, we have been instrumental in developing a new coordinated tertiary Mental Health Services model under BC Mental Health & Addiction Services (Riverview Hospital and Forensic Psychiatric Services). This innovative model will focus on community-based adult tertiary, neuropsychiatry, and geriatric care, adolescent and child psychiatry, as well as include forensic psychiatric care and treatment, research and education.
